Dr Kashyap is a Psychiatrist, Psychologist and Family Physician besides being an Addictionologist, Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist, NLP Master Practitioner and NLP Corporate and Life Coach.
She has been educated in India, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Ireland and has been practising in New Delhi since her return from England in 2007.
She is a strong proponent of Preventive Mental Health care and Mental Health Promotion.
Medical & Mental Health Practice
Her work in the last two decades has involved Behavioural Medicine practice in hospitals like Fortis La Femme and Kailash hospital in the past where she started and headed India’s first departments of Behavioral Medicine. She also worked for two years in Fortis Escorts Heart Insiitute as Senior consultant Behavioral Physician in Department of Preventive Cardiology. Later after she qualified in Psychiatry as well she worked for three years as Consultant Psychiatrist in VIMHANS hospital.
Besides the hospitals, she was involved for several years with De-addiction work involving detox and medical management on one hand and individual, family and group therapy on the other at Rama Rehabilitation centre and later ROAR wellness centre.
The Mind Clinic was established in 2010 and has been running as an Outpatient Clinic ever since.

Teaching and Training Experience
She has been on the faculty and taught medical students for three years at P. S Medical College in Gujarat. She researched on their study methods and how with simple changes they could be helped. Encouraged by astonishing results in their performance she developed the study skills coaching in the form of a workshop that was conducted regularly in the medical college and also several schools in Baroda, Vidya Nagar and Delhii and for students preparing for competitive exams.
Before going to England she also taught pedagogy & scientific learning methods to B.Ed students in the Amity B.Ed College for few months.
Later she qualified with a Masters in Family Medicine from CMC, Vellore as a top ranker and was offered a chance to join the faculty. She has been a Visiting Faculty with ,Christian Medical College, Vellore in their blended learning post-graduate program for Family Medicine since 2016.
At Vidyasagar Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (VIMHANS) Delhi, she gave regular Psychiatry lectures to DNB students for about 3 years. Also, at VIMHANS she designed and introduced a Twelve Step Facilitation Program for patients struggling with Substance dependence. She trained and certified two batches of mental health professionals for conducting this.
Dr Kashyap is also an Honorary Advisor to the Indian Red Cross Society, Delhi where she has helped design and train volunteers for the program on Awareness & Prevention of Drug Abuse among school children in Delhi NCR.
